Hey Chic Seekers, we’re Margarite and Alexandra - Mother-daughter interior decorators who have worked together since 2014. We’ve beautified many a home, and now we want to write to you about all things home and design!

Beyond those, though, we have a penchant for many things. Since we wouldn’t want to limit ourselves in the way of creativity, (and perhaps we want to live out any fantasies we may have about being writers) we intend to write to you about them all! All the things that bring us joy in life, from fashion and beauty to travel and health, and we’re so happy to have you here with us.


Margarite is a mother of 2 humans and 2 animals. She worked in tech before pursuing a career in interiors 20 years ago. She now happily resides in Toronto suburbia researching her varied topics of interest and staying active in sports in her spare time.

Alexandra is a mother of 1 animal and is happy at home in Toronto suburbia, like her mom. She previously worked in hospitality and education and now enjoys being a stylist of apparel and taking opportunities to revive her dancing skills when she’s not working on homes.

Between the two, they’ve spanned a wide range of occupations that combine to lend differing perspectives to both their work and their life. They feel fortunate to have had these experiences, ones from which they write to you.
