The Mother
Over two decades ago, Margarite was raising her two children and had dreams of designing and decorating homes for a living. Now a certified Interior Decorator, Margarite is responsible for the creation and successful growth of Chic Decor Interior Decorating & Design, known today across the GTA and the Muskokas.
Her vision and talent have garnered her numerous awards and accolades as well as media and press. She is proud of her accomplishments and even more proud to have her daughter take the reigns.
The Daughter
Alexandra grew up watching her mom transform the lives of her clients through design and decor. After witnessing clients rave about how much easier life became thanks to Margarite’s hard work and expertise, Alexandra was inspired to follow in her mom’s footsteps. Now the second certified Interior Decorator in the family, Alexandra plans to continue her mom’s legacy of creating homes of livable luxury for her clients.
Her approach is rooted in understanding clients’ routines from morning to night to create homes that maximize function and amplify beauty. She believes that utility and aesthetics don’t have to come at the cost of the other, and through this modality clients’ lives continue to be enhanced and transformed.
